The benefits of hydrotherapy have been known since ancient times and continue to be enjoyed around the world. At KŌena Spa, you will have the chance to experience these benefits firsthand as you visit a peaceful haven set to the rhythm of the thermal cycle. 

The thermal cycle offers many physical and psychological benefits such as strengthening the immune system, relieving chronic pain, reducing muscle tension and more. In order to enjoy all the physical benefits that hydrotherapy can provide, one must experience a complete thermal cycle and repeat it three times.

Here are the 3 steps of the thermal cycle:

01. HEAT

The choice is yours! There are two dry saunas, a steam bath and several hot baths at your disposal. Stay for 10 to 15 minutes in one of these facilities to get the best results.

02. COLD

Immerse yourself quickly in our cold bath or, if it’s cold enough outside, simply walk outside for this step. In winter, you can even roll around in the snow, Finland style. Avoid diving headfirst into the cold bath.


Enjoy your moment of rest in one of our five relaxation rooms. Two of these rooms have special therapeutic properties: the halotherapy room and the light therapy room. For maximum benefit, your moment of relaxation should last at least 10 to 15 minutes. We also recommend that you do ankle flexion and extension exercises after a sauna or steam bath.
