The Maintenance Attendant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations at Kōena Spa. They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of both indoor and outdoor facilities, ensuring that all common areas and grounds are ready to welcome our guests. This position is essential in maintaining the serene and functional environment of the spa, allowing clients to fully enjoy their relaxation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on indoor and outdoor spa facilities (carpentry, painting, etc.) to ensure they remain in good working order.
  • Carry out scheduled and spontaneous repairs in response to internal requests, minimizing any disruption to guests.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds and common areas.
  • Participate in regular building maintenance, including painting, plastering, and other necessary repairs.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure all systems are in good working order to provide clients with a worry-free and pleasant experience.
  • performing purchase  materials required for repairs.
  • Perform any other related tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the facilities and the establishment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and solid knowledge in multiple maintenance fields, such as plumbing, painting, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Training in building mechanics (an asset).
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently while being an effective team member.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected issues with flexibility and efficiency.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance and perform physically demanding manual work.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Initiative, sense of responsibility, and the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and professionalism in a wellness-focused environment.
  • Availability to work early mornings and flexible hours as required by the establishment’s needs.
