It’s now time for you to embark on the ultimate path to balance. To maximize the benefits, we recommend experiencing the complete thermal journey at least 2 to 3 times during your Kōena Escape.
Start with shorter cycles and gradually increase the duration of your Nordic-inspired thermal experience. Please also ensure you stay well-hydrated and limit your alcohol consumption throughout your thermal experience.
The choice is yours! You have access to dry saunas and steam baths. Stay for 5 to 20 minutes in a dry sauna and 5 to 15 minutes in a steam bath.
Quickly immerse yourself in one of our cold baths or, if the outdoor temperature permits, a simple walk outside is sufficient for this step. In winter, you can even roll in the snow, Finnish-style. However, be sure to avoid diving headfirst into the cold baths.
You can enjoy your relaxation time in one of our relaxation rooms. Two of these rooms offer specific therapeutic benefits: the halotherapy room and the light therapy room.
For maximum benefits, your relaxation time should last at least 10 to 15 minutes.
We also recommend practicing ankle flexion and extension exercises after using the sauna or steam bath.

Additionally, we strongly advise against using saunas and steam baths if you have consumed alcohol. The combination of alcohol consumption with sauna or steam bath use increases the risks of hypotension, cardiac complications, sudden death, and accidents.
Finally, avoid diving headfirst or only cooling your head when exiting a sauna or steam bath, as the intensity of the thermal shock increases the risk of sudden death.
