The Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing high-quality and efficient food and beverage service to Kōena Spa clients, helping to create a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. They play a key role in welcoming clients, taking orders, recommending products, as well as preparing and serving meals in a soothing environment that aligns with the spa’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet clients upon arrival at the bistro, offering personalized and attentive service.
- Take client orders professionally, providing recommendations on menu items.
- Prepare and organize meals and beverages, ensuring product quality and meticulous presentation of dishes.
- Deliver quick and efficient service during peak times while maintaining high service quality and a positive client experience.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of dining areas, ensuring they are clean, inviting, and compliant with spa and MAPAQ standards.
- Collaborate with other bistro team members to ensure seamless service and a smooth client experience.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments (kitchen, reception, housekeeping) to coordinate services optimally.
- Contribute to cleaning the bistro area after service and preparing it for the next shift.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, preferably in the restaurant, wellness, or a similar setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally, courteously, and warmly.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff to ensure harmonious service.
- Basic knowledge of English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to provide quick and polished service throughout the day.
